This is where you come to get a better idea of who you're working with, who you hired, who you're thinking about hiring, or to answer the perennial question, "just what is he thinking?"

Reliablelisting.com spamming by auto dialer

Fuck you. Fuck you.

Reliablelisting.com is auto dialing to spam your phone to sell you some shite services. Fuck off, assholes.

I hope your license to do business, if you have one, gets revoked. After I write this, I'm going to be calling the California Department of Corporations to get your asses in trouble.

This is the company:

I'm going to add this to my sidebar soon

Half a billion dollars in value created during 2007

Every time I muse about our place in the world, among comparison companies, it all comes back to that. Is there another firm that yielded such fruit, of any size? Sure, the world's largest agencies - but those are full service, not niche SEM / SEO firms.

In case your as confused as these dimwits, this is spam

And in violation of the Federal canned spam act.
1) It's a made up email address they sent this to.
2) They didn't look to find out that I'M Mr. Goodrich - my wife is Ms. Waheed. The only "Mr. Waheed"...well, there isn't one involved :)
3) If you don't include an "unsubscribe" link, a notice in the subject line it's commercial, AND your address, you're in violation of federal law, to the best of my knowledge.

So...read on and kindly sit & spin, fuckheads.

Mr. Waheed,

The republicans revolted & saved us all from Bush, McCain, AND Obama

I'm stunned, and gaining more respect for Ron Paul as the days go by. Not only did the crap NOT pass the hose, but Ron stepped up his rant against the stupidity on both sides of the fence to say that the bail out, in even "modified" form, should NOT pass, and it didn't.

BTW, if you want to know what I'm thinking, the government wants to rape us: all of us

700 billion dollars. It's plain bullshit. You know it & I know it. This isn't the great depression. It's fascism. The president's own grandfather was involved in a coup to overthrow the government, and now, they're hading over 700 billion to a crook who's in bed with the other assholes that already robbed the American people blind once.

The stock market _crashed_ which started the great depression. Has the dow jones lost that much yet? Nope. And on plans of the government bail out, MORONS pushed it back up again.

Do you use your personal email for business?

I personally do not. However, some people, seemingly, do. Do they not realize it's a problem for the company where they work? And that most companies have data protection and archival requirements. Which means if you use another email for business than you designated work email address that was provided by the company, you should be archiving your "personal" account on the companies servers. If there are legal issues, this is a HUGE problem for the company you work for.

Burn, baby, burn - are you in favor or opposed to companies going out of business?

The government seems all too willing to waste our money to help companies that have failed. This is because of greed, wanton stupidity and irresponsible management.

Did you really think housing was going to go up forever, like people thought the NASDAQ was going to in the mid 90's? It's the same sad song, only sung to a different tune. The beat is different, but the lyrics remain the same: ego driven manicle corporate executives screw the middle class, afterward, the middle class & get to see their hard earned tax dollars wasted on the aftermath.

Sigh.

Free markets my ass.

comScore says we're #56 in July of world's largest social networks

The post title says it all, really. I stumbled across something that mentioned FunAdvice today, and lo & behold, it was a sorted list of the top social networks in the world in July, per comScore.

We were #56. Damn. I wonder how many of those that are bigger than us were bootstrapped?
