This is where you come to get a better idea of who you're working with, who you hired, who you're thinking about hiring, or to answer the perennial question, "just what is he thinking?"

Cinterim, you fucking spammers, if I catch you on the street, I will yell at you

So the fuckwit of the week is Cinterim, and the jackass that answered the phone couldn't even tell me WHERE he got my info.

Look, people, it's pretty simple: if you go round pissing on people, you will go out of business. Me, and six billion other potential customers, do NOT like to be treated like idiots.

How about this: if you are considering doing business with these assholes, think twice. Can you do business with somebody who breaks the law and disrespects due process? I hope not.

Wow, that sucked - I'm back after three weeks of downtime

The kind folks at Rackspace are going to investigate...nothing, literally, NOTHING changed on the blog. However, somebody (or something) changed the database login credential...but, only three people have access to the server (other than Rackspace).

WTF???? I'm still irked, but at least they helped me fix it. Seriously, the only reason to pay them $$$ is you can call them on the phone, and they'll help out, as much as they can. HUGE thanks to them. No other company I've met has that kind of customer service. When they say "fanatic support" they mean it.

Ed Taylor is a fucking spammer, "Marketing secrets to drive more revenue" conference scam

So I get a spam email last week:
bullshit seminar, featuring Ed Taylor and Hosted by Progressive Business Publication.

Is this bullshit? Yes. Did they spam me? Yes.

Ed & company...kindly fuck right off.

The address you emailed had been used on exactly ZERO places where you would have been able to receive my permission to bother me in my inbox.

I hope your business goes down in flames while you sit there, with the phone not ringing, asking yourself why you were so stupid.

Here's a secret that this fuckwit should have learned before electing himself as a professional:

It's either business or personal

When you get an email it's either for business reasons (if you use email for business) OR it's for personal reasons - an old friend, a buddy from college, a guy you used to work with or a family member, etc. You get the idea.

If you read this, remember one thing: it's my personal opinion

Turns out, somebody read this before having a discussion with me the other day about working with them. First thing I thought: "oops", and the second, "maybe I should consider more carefully what I write here".

Well, no, I'm not going to mass delete things I've posted. But...I don't want anybody getting confused. This is my personal blog - from my knowledge, there is only one site that links to this one, and the fact that it gets any traffic at all is...well, amusing, in many ways.

Apollowebhosting - Fuck you, too

Seemingly, the only thing I'm doing on this blog is ranting :) Yep.

Piss me off, and in my view, you deserve to be dragged through the mud. We fired Apollohosting over five months ago, because they injected our site with a BUNCH of pr0n spam. I was very upset, we canceled the service, but one thing remains: they still send us their support notification emails.

OnlineMarketWorld.com - fucking spammers

Gosh, did you really, REALLY think I'd love to be added to your fucking newsletter? Where the FUCK do you get off adding my fucking email to your stupid fucking list?

Take a good, hard look at what I'm saying here:
Don't - piss - people - off.

When you spam them, THEY AREN'T GOING TO THANK YOU FOR DOING SO. Did you really think I'd get your stupid newsletter & gain some kind of profound business insight?

If it was a piece of paper, it wouldn't be suitable to wipe my ass...and since it's bits & bytes, I'm not going to go kill a tree just to get a low quality piece of toilet paper.

Number 8 Jeremy in MSN - and I do nothing to promote this blog

I have no idea where I rank in Yahoo or Google, but it's interesting that I'm so high in the list on MSN, and yet in the last two weeks, I've received only a single, solitary visitor searching for "jeremy" from MSN.

An odd thing, too, is that my URL is listed all in CAPS in MSN search...something I haven't seen before. Did I upset somebody at MSN Search? :) J/k.

Seriously, though, it's strange to see my URL & not one from the uber blogger, jeremy zawodny in Google...I used to get his email when we both worked at Yahoo. Of course, I've moved on long since.

How much attitude and personality do you give to people?

Personality quirks directly impact your success. Have you watched the apprentice TV show before? If not, watch it. The show really illustrates how much your personality will enable or inhibit your personal success in the competition.

Does 500 million sound like a lot of money to you?

So last year, past clients (and some current ones) were acquired. The total of cost of acquiring all those companies is somewhere around 600 million or so. However, our new marketing angle is going to be to use the "500 million in acquisitions" as a line. Or is that number not impressive enough?

Considering all the various online acquisitions I read about last year, it sounds like we worked with nearly half of the major acquisitions...of course, I don't follow all of them, so I could be mistaken. :)
